Fairchild Controls Corporation designs, develops, manufacturers and supports environmental control systems, air drive units and power conversion/control electronics for customers in the U.S. and abroad. The company’s environmental control systems (ECS) are used on a variety of military helicopters, military land vehicles, as well as aboard aircraft as external pods containing targeting, navigation, reconnaissance and electronic countermeasures.   Fairchild Controls’ air drive units equip aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and 767-400, as well as the Lockheed Martin C-130 to supply additional hydraulic power during periods of peak demand.
